Will Sarni is an internationally recognized thought leader on water stewardship and sustainability strategies, and author of Corporate Water Strategies (Earthscan, 2011). Will works with some of the most recognized global brands in developing water stewardship strategies. He is a Board Member of the Rainforest Alliance has worked with several NGOs as an advisor on water-related programs. He is based in Denver, Colorado, USA.�
Tamin Pechet is CEO of Banyan Water, a private-equity funded company using information technology to reduce water costs and risks for large commercial and institutional customers. He is also Chairman and Co-Founder of Imagine H2O, a global non-profit organization spurring water entrepreneurship. He is based in San Francisco, California, USA.

An insightful guide for any organization where water impacts your operation, product or investment

I work in clean technology and this book is an excellent overview and guide for any clean tech entrepreneur and/or those that want to invest in water technology. We have all heard that water is the next oil. While there is plenty of water on the planet - it is not always in the right place at the right time, nor is it always clean and sanitary.
Will Sarni lays out great examples of companies needing and incorporating water strategy and new technologies to ensure they have a license to operate for years to come. Shortly after reading this book, I read a headline that Coca Cola India was shut down due to lack of a water source. I don't know for how long, but this happening to a global company like Coca Cola that you would think has the influence to ensure they always have a water source, makes the need for water technology real.
The book walks you through several areas of water innovation and technology as well as the opportunities and challenges in reducing water demand.
If you have anything to do with water in your company or organization - read this book. Actually - if you do NOT have anything to do with water, but water is a major factor in your business (hotel, beverage company, farmer, etc.) your should read this book.
